Singer Simisola Kosoko popularly known as Simi and her colleague Ayra Starr have knocked down a critic who compared both stars.
A Twitter user on Wednesday implied that Simi has fallen off the music charts as people now listen to Arya Starr more than her.
Reacting to the comment, Simi knocked the Twitter user saying, “Ur papa wey no fall off, where he dem?”
Coming to Simi’s aid, Arya Starr hailed Simi, urging her to ignore the user who only wanted to gain relevance.
“Queen, please don’t mind him, he’s a bloody samaritan. Love you forever,” she wrote.
Both music stars have attained success in their career.
Simi’s professional music career started in 2008 following the release of her debut album Ogaju, the album was produced by music producer Samklef.
The 33-year-old won the award for the most promising act to watch at the Nigeria Entertainment Award in 2015.
The music star has released several hit tracks like ‘Jamb Question’, ‘Tiff’, and ‘Duduke’.
Simi married singer Adekunle Gold in a private wedding ceremony on January 9, 2019. It was later revealed that they had been dating for five years.
Arya Starr who is signed under Marvin Records label started her career doing covers of songs by 2face and American singer Andra Day.
Her hit song ‘Bloody Samaritan’ has attained worldwide success.
