Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has recounted his childhood experiences, stating that his dad did not want him listening to Fela’s music.
The Tinsel actor made this known in an Instagram post on Thursday.
“At the start, my dad didn’t want me listening to Fela’s music. He thought I’d be influenced in ways beyond his grip that made him cringe. I was only 10.
“Flip to four years later I was performing at song “Zombie” at all my school events to naval officers in duty rig,” he wrote in parts.
The actor recently shared videos of his performance as Fela at an event.
