Bandits have released 10 more students of Bethel Baptist School in Kaduna State, the Christian Association of Nigeria confirmed on Sunday.
The school which is located at Damishi town of Chikun Local Government Area was attacked on June 5.
Confirming the release of the students, CAN vice president for 19 northern states and Abuja and its chairman in Kaduna Rev. Joseph Hayab told PUNCH, “Ten more students of Baptist High School were released this afternoon. We have 11 now with bandits.
“We are thanking all Nigerians for their prayers and support. We are trusting God that the rest will be released very soon. All have been reunited with their parents.”
The 10 students freshly out from captivity were released on Saturday.
Bandits have been releasing the students in batches since the abduction. One time, they demanded food items so they could feed the students.
The school was reportedly established in 1991.
