Nollywood actor Bob Manuel-Udokwu has said that being a former host of the Gulder Ultimate Search brought out what he did not know he had.
The veteran made this known on Sunday, during the Gulder Ultimate Search unveiling in Lagos.
“The unique thing about Gulder Ultimate Search was that it brought out in me, from within what I didn’t know I had because when I was confronted by the reality of the jungle I had to draw in from every personal experience with what I had on ground and I knew that this is a world-class show and we had to give it a world-class presentation and that is exactly what I did,” he said.
The 54-year-old went further to say that the show has empowered youths in Nigeria.
“Most people don’t know but after the ultimate search, Nigerian Breweries had empowered so many young people that they became something that they never imagined,” he said.
Bob Manuel anchored the Gulder Ultimate Search for five years before the show went on a hiatus.
The organisers of the show had announced Nollywood actor and former contestant Kunle Remi as the taskmaster for this coming season.
