Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday praised Bayo Omoboriowo, official photographer of President Muhammadu Buhari, on producing the world’s largest pictorial book titled Discover Nigeria.
President Buhari unveiled the book on Thursday at the State House Banquet Centre, Abuja, his media aide Buhari Sallau said in a Facebook post.
Discover Nigeria is 60 sqm and has reportedly been certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s largest pictorial book.
In an Instagram post, Prof Osinbajo wrote, “There’s a need to be intentional about telling the truth and beauty that lies in our existence as a nation built on one of the richest strands of diversity in the world.
“There’s a lot of healing, pride, strength, and hope to reap from telling these truths, and I salute the thought and team behind this project – the 36in36 – a project centered not only on documenting this diversity, but to also celebrate its powerful influence on our patriotic consciousness as citizens. Well done @bayoomoboriowo.”
