The United States of America has congratulated Oluchi Madubuike for winning the 2021 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant held in Lagos on September 18.
A statement by the US Mission in Nigeria on Sunday read: “Congratulations to Nigerian-American Oluchi Madubuike for winning the 2021 Nigeria National Pageant.
“She graduated with notable distinction in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and is an ER & ICU nurse.”
The 25-year-old worked for Baylor Scott and White Health in Waco, Texas as a nurse after her graduation before joining ADEX Medical Staffing in Detroit as an emergency room nurse in 2018.
Before emerging MBGN 2021, the US resident participated in the Miss Africa Texas Pageant where she emerged the winner in 2016. She also contested in Miss Nigeria USA in 2019.
“Oluchi who competed as Ms. Abuja (in MBGN) will officially represent Nigeria at this year’s Miss World competition in Puerto Rico.
“Good luck Oluchi!” the statement by the US Mission concluded.
