Disc Jockey Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy has shared photos of her matriculation ceremony at the University of Oxford.
Cuppy who shared the photos on Instagram on Monday expressed her excitement over her latest achievement, also adding that her hard work has finally paid off.
“HUGE Matriculation Day at Oxford University. This ceremony confers my membership as a student! Worked my ass off to get in and it’s paid off,” she wrote.
The 28-year-old first announce her admission into Oxford in an Instagram post on October 1st, saying that she is super excited to start her third degree and a new adventure. She has since then continued to share photos at the school premises.
She yet again revealed her admission status on social media plus her new music project. Cuppy also added that she has stopped drinking.
“If I don’t get back to you until 2022, it’s because I’m a full-time student at Oxford University, I’m djing around the world country, I’m launching my jewelry brand and I’m working on new music. Also, quit drinking, I’m starting a venture capital+ all other stuff,” she wrote.
Her mum Nana Otedola also paid her a surprise visit to Oxford a few days before her matriculation. In a video shared on Instagram, mother and daughter are seen hugging each other with gleeful faces.
Adding to the list of her achievements, the Lagos-born is currently starring in a British TV series titled Highlife with Big Brother Naija star Kiddwaya.
The series follows the lives and loves of a group of ambitious, glamourous young Nigerian Brits all chasing their own idea of success, aiming at portraying young black Brits without guns or gangs insight.
She also announced that she is now a house owner in the United Kingdom, London which she named PinkPentHouse. Cuppy made it public in April 2021. The penthouse was also featured on MTV Cribs.
DJ Cuppy is the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola.
