Nollywood darling, Rita Dominic, is justifying every kobo of the N7million she was reportedly paid as the new face of Zaron Cosmetics.
The actress, producer and style icon was last week unveiled as the new ambassador of the beauty products and has since gone to work.
Apart from appearing in promotional pictures, Ms. Dominic has also been spreading the gospel of Zaron among friends and followers on social media.
And in what came as a surprise to many who know her personnaly, the actress sent a broadcast message to promote the products among her BlackBerry contacts on Monday
The message reads: “Morning ladies. Look fabulous today and always with Zaron Cosmetics!! We have a wide range of products for you to choose from! Lipsticks that moisturizes the lips and last long…. Gel eye liners that don’t irritate your eyes and last all day when applied…. Eye shadows that have high pigments…. Powder and foundation that contains SPF30 for all skin types. Glosses, pencils, primers, brushes!”
Rita, who was chosen as Zaron ambassador because the manufacturers are convinced she is a true representation of a hardworking African beauty who exudes class and confidence continued: “I can go on and on about the quality and content of our Products! Be Proudly Zaron today!”
It is however not immediately known if the message was composed by the actress.
“This campaign must mean a lot to Rita because she is not one to send BlackBerry broadcast message,” someone close to the actress told QED on Monday afternoon.
In its three years of existence, the brand has penetrated the Nigerian market and is spreading across Africa by becoming a conglomerate with over 26 franchise outlets across 15 cities.
The Zaron team says the brand “wants every woman to glow inside and out, with the confidence that comes with being beautiful and Rita is the woman to help communicate this.”
Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, was the first to sign on as Zaron ambassador.
