Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday met with the national leader of the All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja for the first time since the latter’s return from the United Kingdom.
Tinubu returned to Nigeria earlier this month after about three months away in the UK where he underwent knee surgery.
There have been rumour that Tinubu and Osinbajo might both be interested in the presidency seat. However, none of them has declare his intention.
The meeting appeared to have quelled insinuations that both men were not in talking terms.
