Media mogul Dele Momodu on Thursday mourned the managing director of Fourscore Homes Femi Osibona after the latter’s body was pulled out from the high-rise building that collapsed in Ikoyi, Lagos on Monday.
Mr Osibona’s body was only discovered some 72 hours after the 21-storey building fell.
Mr Momodu, who was a friend of the real estate developer, said in a mournful tone on Instagram, “Good night my very dear friend and Brother FEMI FOURSCORE OSIBONA…RIP.”
Before his suspension, the general manager of Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) Gbolahan Oki claimed Osibona got approval to construct a 15-storey building. He also claimed the man had been arrested.
However, Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat countered him during a visit to the scene, saying Osibona got approval for a 21-storey building.
An investigation is underway into the cause of the collapse.
About 39 bodies have so far been pulled out.
