Founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation) also known as the NXTION Family in London Tobi Adegboyega on Thursday celebrated his 41st birthday with a convoy of exotic cars.
Adegboyega posted a video on Instagram of Lamborghini cars which he said his “sons and daughters” came out to “play” with to honour him.
“If you’re angry it’s because you don’t like good things,” the clergyman said, addressing detractors.
Adegboyega moved to London from Lagos in 2005. On arrival in London, he shared a room with his cousin, actor John Boyega.
He started SPAC Nation in 2008 with three members. As pastor, he encourages criminals to drop their weapons at the altar of his church during services, an act that received both praise and criticism from the public.
Adegboyega and his pastors have in the past been accused of financial exploitation, financial misappropriation, fraud, domestic abuse, and sexual abuse.
In 2019, SPAC Nation was accused of pressuring youths to sell blood.
On May 20, 2020, Adegboyega stepped down as lead pastor of SPAC Nation and handed over to Samuel Akokhia and Damy Balogun.
