Popstar Davido has exceeded his 100 million naira budget as his new challenge continues to trend on social media.
The singer made this known on Twitter and Instagram on Wednesday.
David also announced that the total sum gathered from the challenge has exceeded 150 million naira and the new target has risen from 100 million naira to 200 million naira.
“Jesus, up the score we going for 200. God is just crazy, be good to people that’s all,” he wrote.
The challenge started on Tuesday, November 16 after the singer posted a video on his Instagram story, telling his friends to send him one million naira as proof of their friendship and loyalty to him.
While opening an account dedicated to this purpose Davido stated that he has always been on the giving side, and now it’s his turn to receive.
Celebrities such has Obi Cubana, Don Jazzy, Naira Marley, Mr Eazi, Zlatan, Phyno, Patoranking, Dorathy Bachor, Teni, Cubana Chief Priest and Adekunle Gold donated one million naira to Davido.
