Among the traditional rulers were the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; and the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.
Others included the chief judge of Oyo State, Justice Munta Abimbola; Oyo State High Court judge, Justice Diran Akintola; former Speaker of Oyo State, Monsurat Sunmonu; the first female minister of industry, Nike Akande; and the deputy national chairman (south) of the Peoples Democratic Party, Taofeek Arapaja.
In his sermon, the bishop of Ibadan South Anglican Diocese Rt. Rev. Joseph Akinfenwa said he was happy that the wedding ceremony attracted various politicians from different political parties to be under one roof.
While counselling the new couple to stay true to their vows, Akinfenwa called on politicians to make life better for the citizenry.
