Actor Kolawole Ajeyemi, husband of Toyin Abraham, has advised his wife against letting her friends become her enemies.
Toyin disclosed this in an Instagram post on Thursday.
According to her, Kolawole was prompted to make the statement after she told her husband that she wanted to leave Eniola Badmus’ 20 years in Nollywood anniversary party since it was getting late.
Kolawole, however, urged her to spend more time at the event and be there for her friends. Toyin said she become emotional after he made the statement, adding that her husband is full of wisdom.
“At the Eniola’s party, it was fun but timing became late. I informed my husband @kolawoleajeyemi that it was time to go home. He said NO. Don’t leave the people that were your friends even before we got married.
“You should not become their enemy because you are now married. That sentence touched me. I became emotional but importantly grateful that God gave me this man full of wisdom. Please help me say thank you to my husband,” she said.
Toyin Abraham got married to Kolawole in July 2019. They have a son named Ireoluwa Ajeyemi.
The actress was first involved with another actor Adeniyi Johnson, but their relationship ended over time.
Kolawole also has a daughter Temitope from his previous relationship.
