Singer Timi Dakolo has reacted to the accusation against the senior pastor Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) Biodun Fatoyinbo.
A woman Nnenna Kalu-Ude, who claims to be a former chorister at the Abuja-based church, took to social media to call out the preacher.
She accused the pastor and his wife Modele Fatoyinbo of being responsible for the death of her friend, Tega, who was also a chorister, saying she was maltreated.
Reacting in a Twitter post, Timi whose wife made headlines in 2019 after accusing the pastor of sexual exploitation said that the truth will always be the truth no matter how one tries to hide it.
“Truth is truth, break it down, cover it, blend it, burn it or even paint it. The thing is -Truth will always be truth and it will survive all this it own. Victory is truth realised,”
In an Instagram post, the 40-year-old wrote: “Dem no Dey help God fight Him battle. Sometimes Him Dey collect Him victory small small.”
Fatoyinbo was in 2019 accused by photographer Busola Dakolo, wife Timi Dakolo, of raping her in her teenage years when she was a member of the church. The preacher stepped down for a while from the pulpit due to the dust raised by the allegations.
