The social media space has since Tuesday been flooded with reactions and banters after actress Juliana Olayode called out her former manager pastor Timi Adigun over social media passwords.
The former Jenifa’s Diary star took to Instagram to accuse the pastor of taking control of her social media accounts. She also claimed Timi refused to provide the passwords to those accounts.
Angered by the statement, Timi posted a video on Instagram denying any access to Juliana’s social media account. He added that he started managing her after exit from Jenifa’s Diary.
Timi also claimed that he knew some secrets about the actress but would not want to expose her.
With things spiraling out of control, Juliana was forced to put out a statement on Wednesday, January 26 revealing that Timi was in fact the reason she got fired from the show.
According to her, the content of the email sent by Timi led to her sack from the series.
She said: “Talk about Jenifa’s Dairy because to just came and said what you said. Who sent the email? You sent the email. Because I was begging you that day and I said ‘Please don’t send this email’. You were saying that you wanted to send the email, you wanted to stand up for me as a father.
“And I begged you and I said ‘don’t send this email’. Okay, edit the email. What did you say? ‘You don’t trust my decision that is the only problem I have against you. I am trying to stand up for you. All the things you said. I was there crying that day. Your wife Titilope was there. I never said anything because I Trusted you.
“There were times when you made decisions for me that I knew those decisions were wrong but you always told me to trust you.
The Lagos-born actress gained popularity after featuring as Toyosi aka Toyo Baby in Funke Akindele’s comedy series.
The actress fell out with Funke in 2017 after she demanded an increase in her fee which was said to be N3,000 per episode back then.
That led to her exit from the show and a strained relationship with Funke.
