Singer Innocent Idibia aka 2face has consoled his colleague Faze over the death of his mum Faith Oji.
In an Instagram story on Thursday, 2face shared the funeral poster of the deceased calling for prayers for the singer over the loss.
He wrote: “Please join me to felicitate in prayers for my brother Faze, Idogwu family and the entire family. RIP MAMA.”
Faze announced his mum’s death in an Instagram post on January 18.
With a heavy heart, he wrote: “I don’t know how to express what’s in my heart. My heart is heavy. My Mum passed on last Wednesday, January 12th. This was after my twin sister left this world last year.
“I don’t know why so many good people I love are leaving but I just hold on to the thought that God is God and he knows what he is doing. It is well. I just thank Him that she lived a full life and is done with the troubles of this world. Rest well Mummy.”
Born Chibuzor Oji, Faze lost his twin sister Ifeyinwa in February 2021. She died two days before their birthday.
