Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his family recently marked the anniversary of the helicopter crash on February 2, 2019.
Osinbajo’s wife Dolapo said in an Instagram post on Thursday that she was thankful her husband survived the crash.
“Lord I remember. Lord, I thank You,” she said. “Thanking God on the anniversary of God’s great deliverance from the helicopter crash on 2nd February 2019.”
Mrs Osinbajo presented the song E ba mi yin Jesu logo during the anniversary celebration, another post by her on Instagram revealed.
Osinbajo’s helicopter crash-landed in 2019 in Kabba, Kogi State. Everyone on board was safe.
The number two citizen had travelled to Kogi as part of the implementation of the social intervention programme of the Buhari administration.
In June 2017, Osinbajo survived a similar accident when the helicopter he was travelling in crash-landed shortly after take-off in Gwagawalada, Abuja.
