Femi Babafemi, a spokesperson of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has confirmed the arrest of music artistes Mohbad and Zinoleesky over alleged possession of illicit drugs.
The two artistes were arrested during a raid in the early hours of Thursday.
“Our men raided an area in Idado estate where Naira Marley’s boys stay. Some quantities of Cannabis and Molly were recovered from their apartment and car,” he said.
“Six persons were arrested in all. Two females and four males,” he continued.
Videos surfaced online showing officials of the agency cuffing the two artistes who are affiliated with singer Naira Marley.
The scene believed to have played out in Lagos witnessed a struggle between Marley’s associates and the NDLEA.
Meanwhile, Naira Marley is still facing an 11-count charge bordering on conspiracy, possession of counterfeit credit cards, and fraud.
He was first arrested in May 2019 by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
