Singer 2face has remembered his friend and colleague Sound Sultan who died in July 2021.
The 46-year-old uploaded a photo of the deceased, describing him as a warrior. He also said he will continue to miss Sultan till he joins him.
“#GRATEFUL#WARRIOR A GUY was light years ahead. Miss u till I join,” he wrote.
On 2face’s 46th birthday his wife Annie Idibia shared a throwback video of the singer’s 40th birthday celebration with herself, Sound Sultan and his wife Farida Fasasi present at the event.
Mourning Sound Sultan, Annie said that she wished he were alive to witness another birthday celebration, she also appreciated him for his support and protection.
“Oh, Lanre I wish you were here today. Can’t help to celebrate my big brother Sultan as I celebrate you, my husband. It’s the way he always love and protected me. Fortified night holds so many memories,” she wrote in parts.
Sound Sultan born Olanrewaju Fasasi died of cancer of the lymphatic system in the United States of America at the age of 44.
