Actress Bidoun Okeowo popularly known as Omoborty has penned down an emotional tribute to her late mum to mark the third anniversary of her death.
The actress posted a photo collage of her and her mum on Instagram on Thursday as she expressed her pain over the loss.
The grieving actress said that all she does now is look at her mother’s pictures and cry.
“So many things I wish you to talk to you about. But all I have left are sweet memories. Our fights, our fasting, our prayers, our tears when the going was tough and our celebrations on my little wins then. And now that I need you to pat my back and smile that your prayers are sure manifesting… You are gone.
“That’s painful. So painful words can’t quantify… All I do now is just look at your pictures and cry… then pray to God to grant you eternal rest. ORISA BI’YA OSI LAYE,” she wrote
In an earlier post, the Yoruba movie star wrote: “Hmmmmmm It’s 3 years today that you left this sinful world. I miss you greatly. The cut is still fresh just like yesterday. Nobody can fill the vacuum your demise left in my heart.
“You left when you ought to start to really enjoy what you labored for. Ha! Mummy o dun mi gan o. I’m trying to be strong but it’s not easy! Life without your own biological mother is …. Continue to Rest In Peace mummy.
May God forgive all your shortcomings and grant you eternal rest in His bosom.”
Biodun’s mother died on March 11, 2019.
