Fans of actress Tonto Dikeh have expressed concern over the actress’s post about God’s existence following the death of her stepmum.
The actress who buried her stepmum earlier in March, made a post saying she will not forgive God for taking away someone she loved.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the mother of one said it’s okay to lose trust and love for God. The actress also questioned the reality of heaven.
She wrote: It is ok to lose your trust and love for God! it is ok to question God!! It is ok to stop believing you know why cause God never created us in his image, not a likeness. At least not literally, the only one who is allowed to give up is God himself. He created us with the power of choice. Whatever rocks your boat do it, I have seen more unbelievers enjoy earth more than my Christian brethren. What’s the guarantee that heaven is real? (woke up with some dangerous thoughts)”
Celebrities and fans took to the comment section of the post to console the actress while others worry about the actress’s state of mind.
Fellow actress Angela Okorie wrote: “It’s a test of discipleship, Jesus said If you cannot carry your cross and follow me then you’re not worthy to be called my disciple… there must be a phase or phases in a believer’s life where we must experience CROSS MOMENTS. That’s the test of true love for Christ, when things are going well we’re quick to express our love and gratitude for him, but the reverse is the case when things turn out bad… we forget that you can only know if you truly love someone when the person gives you reasons to hate him or her.”
“I am seriously worried about this woman, she is losing her mind and it’s no longer funny,” Ijeoma Ossai wrote.
“I pray you feel the touch of God again, I pray you to experience him again so strongly beyond every shadow of a doubt. Our God may be an unseen God but he is here, there and everywhere.
“The evidence of his existence is in his creation. Faith doesn’t make it all easy, it makes it possible. He is right beside you when you pass through the fire and the waters. He is the reason you aren’t burnt down nor engulfed. I pray we all find this peace and joy that surpasses all human understanding. I love you,” another fan Bayo Riggs wrote.
“I’m worried about your mental state, please get help,” Umeh Chiamaka wrote.
