Actress Funke Akindele on Wednesday celebrated attaining 15 million followers on Instagram.
The 45-year-old expressed her gratitude over hitting a milestone figure while bragging about hitting 20 million followers soon.
“A Big Thank You to my 15 million followers, You guys are the best I couldn’t have come this far on my own….20million soon,” she wrote.
Fellow celebrities like Nkechi Blessing, Sonia Ogiri, Nikki Laoye, Kemi Korede, Uzo Osimkpa and others congratulated her in the comment section of the post.
The actress first hit her first one million followers in 2016.
Over the years, the Omo Ghetto star has continued to celebrate her followers.
In 2018, she celebrated hitting five million followers, in 2019 Funke hit seven million followers and 12 million in 2020.
In 2021, the mother of two celebrated attaining 13 million followers on Instagram.
She plays the lead character in the show Jenifa’s Diary for which she was named Best Actress in a Comedy at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
Funke is married rapper JJC Skillz. They had their wedding in London.
The couple has two children together.
