Fans of actress Genevieve Nnaji have expressed concern over the latter’s state of mind following her lastest post about death.
The 42-year-old in an Instagram story shared quotes from the Quran. The post also showed a mat and a graveyard with a message from the Quran saying, “Every soul will taste death.”
A voice in the background could be heard saying, “This is not real, It’s just a dream, wake up. please ! please wake up.”
Concerned fans took to Instagram to express their concern over the post as they worry about the actress’s mental health.
“I genuinely believe this lady is going through a serious psycho midlife crisis. She used to be much more liberal than this. What happened to her?” @candidtree asked.
“Her post was denial about mental health issues. That’s always the first stage when going through a rough patch… denial. I hope she finds herself.”
@luxurygiftandpillow wrote: “Hope she is okay and doing fine.”
@yuslurv_thatar wrote: “Someone should check on her depression is real.”
@kins4real wrote: “May God Almighty guide and protect her.”
@chidimma_obiamaka wrote: “She probably lost someone who was a Muslim.”
However, a Muslim fan,@juntyfashion, who believes the actress was only passing a message said: “As a Muslim, this simply means this world is nothing but vanity and we shall all taste death. ‘Pray before you’re prayed upon, be a believer before you die all this fake wokeness (sic) n deepness arent necessary. She is just passing a message.”
