Actress Nse Ikpe-Etim has received an award of recognition from Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in celebration of the 2022 International Women’s Day.
The award was given to her in honour of the International Women’s Day celebration held to celebrate and encourage women empowerment.
Nse was ranked among the top 100 women in Lagos alongside her colleagues Toyin Abraham, TY Bello, Mo Bimpe and others from various sectors making impacts and imprints in the state.
Excited about her latest achievement, the actress shared a photo of the award on Instagram on Thursday and thanked the governor for the recognition.
“Grateful,” she simply wrote.
Toyin who had earlier posted her award also thanked Sanwo-Olu saying, “Thank you sir for your excellency @jidesanwoolu and @lagosstategovt thanks for the recognition. Eshey Modupe Eko o ni baje.”
Celebrating the recognition, Bello wrote: “It’s such a great honor to receive this recognition from the governor of Lagos state @jidesanwoolu . It will always mean the world when a city celebrates its women. I’m so grateful.”
