Celebrities such as Rita Edochie, Yul Edochie, Uche Ogbodo and others have mourned gospel singer Chinedu Nwadike who died at age 39.
The singer died on Sunday afternoon after battling cancer and kidney-related illness.
Reacting to his death, Yul Edochie posted his photo on Instagram, praying for strength for the family to bear the loss.
He noted that he was glad he did the much he could but the singer gave up before the money raised for him could be put to use.
“Rest well my bro. Prince Chinedu Nwadike. God knows best. I’m glad I did the much I could. Sadly you gave up even before the money raised could be put to use. We cannot question God. He gives and He takes. May God grant your family the strength to bear the loss,” he wrote.
Heartbroken over the loss, Rita Edochie posted a video of Chinedu in a wheelchair.
“CHINEDU NWADIKE IS GONE,” she wrote.
Reaching in the comment section of the post, Uche Ogbodo wrote: “So sad.”
