Filmmaker Mildred Okwo has accused former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, presidential aspirant Bukola Saraki and Bauchi state Bala Mohammed of playing ‘niceties’ while the country burns.
Mildred made the statement on Twitter on Tuesday following the death of Chinelo Megafu and other victims of the Abuja-Kaduna terrorist train attack.
Atiku posted photos of his meeting with Sakari and Bala, saying he looks forward to continuing their dialogue and building one Nigeria.
Angered by the tweet, Mildred tweeted the post and accused the lawmakers of playing niceties while the country burns.
“Country is burning while you people are playing niceties,” she wrote.
In another tweet, The Meeting director said she was sick and tired of people who cannot speak the truth.
“I am so sick of people who can’t speak the truth because of party lines. You do not care about Nigeria but your stupid paymasters. Your children will grow up in this place too.
“Sometimes we know our families have no power. People tweet hoping that someone more powerful might see & ensure it isn’t swept under the rug. See how adults denied #EndSARS Chinelo’s tweet ensured we all know she was there. Twitter is powerful whether we want to admit or not,” she wrote.
