Reactions have not stopped trailing the Sunday statement by former governor of Osun Senator Iyiola Omisore following comments by Nobel laureate Prof Wole Soyinka showing disapproval of the former’s emergence as national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Soyinka had described Omisore as a prime suspect in the alleged murder of former minister of justice Bola Ige.
However, the APC scribe said a court had already vindicated him, sending jibes to the renowned playwright.
A part of Omisore’s statement where he said Soyinka should ask his ‘cousin’ former President Olusegun Obasanjo about Ige’s death has become a talking point on social media.
