Barcelona forward, Luis Suarez, has admitted missing everyone at Liverpool FC, the club he departed for his current side two years ago.
The Uruguay international, who paid a visit to Anfield on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, about two weeks after helping his team overcome another Premier League side, Arsenal in London, said “It was fantastic to see” his former colleagues.
Suarez scored 69 goals in 110 appearances for the Reds before joining Barca in 2014. And despite winning five trophies since his move to the Spanish giants – including the UEFA Champions League, the former Ajax man disclosed he misses his former employers and friends.
“The people that work here are really nice and I miss them,” Suarez who has scored 42 goals in 54 games for Barcelona told Liverpool’s official website.
“So I wanted to come and see some friends. I have really good friends here. It was fantastic to see the lads.
“I had a really good moment here in three-and-a-half years and, when you have a really good moment in your life, it is something you remember.
“I always try to watch the [Liverpool] games and look out for the results. I am very interested in how Liverpool are doing because they are so important in my life.”
