Filmmaker Mildred Okwo has reacted to fellow filmmaker Mo Abudu’s statement on her new TV series Blood Sisters being Netflix’s first original Nigerian series over Kemi Adetiba’s King of Boy: The Return of the King which many believed was the first original series.
After the release of Blood Sisters trailer, Mildred in a Twitter post on Thursday wrote: “Ahah first original series? Una don come o.”
In another tweet, the filmmaker stated that there is cause to worry if the streaming platform put out a document before naming another project as their first original series, adding that whoever released the statement will be sacked.
“They will fire the person instantly. If Netflix put out a document before naming another project their first original then my dear wahala dey,” she tweeted.
