Gospel singer Amaka Okwuoha, known professionally as Chioma Jesus, has demanded justice for her colleague late Osinachi Nwachukwu.
Osinachi, 42, was a lead singer at the Dunamis International Headquarters, Abuja. She died last Friday at an undisclosed hospital in Abuja.
Chioma who described Osinachi’s death as heartbreaking, took to Instagram on Sunday to demand justice for the ‘Ekwueme’ singer.
The 50-year-old uploaded a video of one of Osinachi’s performances, saying, “Justice must take its course. Rest well my beloved.”
Meanwhile, the police have arrested Osinachi’s husband Peter Nwachukwu over the death of his wife.
FCT police spokesperson Josephine Adeh confirmed the arrest of Mr Nwachukwu.
“He is now in our custody. The younger brother of the deceased reported the matter and we have commenced investigation,” she said.
Nwachukwu, who is accused of wife battery, was arrested on Sunday afternoon.
