Comedian Princess has reacted to the death of gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu, saying the deceased ministered and won souls while in a place of deep pain.
Princess recently said this in the comment section of media personality Morayo Afolabi Brown’s Instagram post, adding that her family, friends, the church and society failed her following allegations of abuse carried out by her husband.
“She ministered and won souls while in a place of deep pain with sorrow. Family, friends, society and the church failed her. Each word in the song just makes me cry because she just cast everything to God. In the end I believe she is resting from this wicked world that shields abusers,” the comedian wrote.
Osinachi, 42, was a lead singer at the Dunamis International Headquarters, Abuja. She died last Friday at an undisclosed hospital in Abuja.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested Osinachi’s husband Peter Nwachukwu over the death of his wife.
FCT police spokesperson Josephine Adeh confirmed the arrest of Mr Nwachukwu.
