Rapper Oludemilade Alejo known professionally as Ycee has accused the organisers of the American rapper Rick Ross’ Easter concert of neglecting Nigerian rappers.
Ycee called out the show promoters on Twitter on Friday, saying that no Nigerian rapper performed alongside Rick Ross at the event.
“Bruh this ain’t even about me cos I haven’t put out rap music in a while but how do you have a Rick Ross show in Nigeria and not have ONE SINGLE NIGERIAN RAPPER ON THE LINE UP??? And tomorrow you wanna come on Twitter and ask why rappers are switching genres,” he tweeted.
Singers like Davido, Rema, Tiwa Savage and Patoranking thrilled fans with their performances at the event.
