Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has met the founder of the popular Arsenal Fan TV (AFTV) Robbie Lyle and his team at the Lagos House.
Mr Sanwo-Olu shared photos of their meeting on Instagram on Monday.
Commenting on their meeting, the governor said, “For people familiar with soccer, AFTV is arguably the world’s Number 1 football fan channel for Arsenal. It was created by Robbie Lyle, who is an avid Arsenal fan, for other fans like him to air their opinions on Arsenal matches and its players.
“Since its creation, the channel has continued to provide viewers with fan interviews, commentaries, and general content about Arsenal Football Club, on different social media platforms.
“It was indeed a pleasure taking time out of my busy schedule to host him, while also discussing the one thing that always brings out the passion in Nigerians; soccer.”
Lyle and his team are on tour in Africa. Created in 2012, AFTV has become the one-stop YouTube channel for all things Arsenal FC. Some of their content includes fan interviews, previews and reviews of players.
Sanwo-Olu wished Lyle “the very best as he continues on his journey while giving the fans of Arsenal his favourite team, the well-needed platform to air their views.”
