Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Clinics located in the Mende area of Maryland, Lagos has disowned a plastic surgeon Dr Kosy Odimega following the outrage that has greeted the death of a client identified simply as Crystabel.
A friend of the deceased Posha brought the matter to Twitter, saying Crystabel died from the complications she had during the surgery. The clinic has denied complicity.
The medical facility disowned Odimega in a disclaimer posted to Instagram on Thursday night, saying the publication was necessary following claims that he still works at the clinic.
“This is to bring to the attention of the general public that Dr Kosy Tobenna Odimega is no longer a staff of Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Clinics. He worked with us from the 1st of March 2021, till the 14th of December 2021, when his employment was terminated,” the disclaimer said.
“This publication has become necessary as our attention has been drawn to news going round that he is still a staff of Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Clinics. The general public to please beware!”
Crystabel’s family and friends have begun calling for justice over her death.
