Several persons have been feared dead following an attack by gunmen on Sunday at St Francis Catholic Church on Owa-luwa Street, Owo town, Akure, Ondo State capital.
The explosion reportedly occurred on the church premises while mass was ongoing, sending worshippers scampering for safety.
The source of the explosion was yet to be confirmed as of press time.
