Singer Simi has expressed sadness over the attack on the worshippers of St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State by, gunmen on Sunday.
It was learnt that the incident happened in the church, which is less than 200 meters away from the Palace of Olowo of Owo.
Reacting to the attack that led to loss of lives in a Twitter post, Simi wrote: “So sad.”
“I read one whole family was wiped out. This makes no sense,” she added.
“I keep typing and deleting the things I’m feeling, because who cares how I’m feeling when people actually lost their loved ones. Their parents. Their children. Slight panic attack,” the mother of one tweeted again.
Reacting to the attack that led to loss of lives, Davido called on Jesus to take control.
On his Twitter page on Sunday, Davido wrote, “Jesus take control. Pray for Nigeria. RIP to all the lost souls. #prayforondo. This is too much.”
