It’s fascinating how almost every cheating man on the planet says the same phrase, as if there is a book for cheating that all males have read.
So, ladies, if you are in a cheating relationship or at least think that you might be in one; you will definitely hear certain statements from your man.
Here are some of the common phrases men say when they are cheating and don’t want you to know about it.
1. She was trying to seduce me
If she was trying to seduce your man, then why was your man on top of her? Or why did he just simply not walk away from there? If your man uses this as an excuse, simply ask him why he would get seduced at all if he was so much in love with you. Leave him then and there to keep getting seduced by anybody.
2. She is like a sister to me
Sister? Really? Who gets on the bed with someone “like a sister”? It is unfortunate that men mostly use this excuse to run away from the situation after getting caught.
3. You don’t have time for me
Men use this to try to validate their action and make the other party feel guilty. Ladies shouldn’t fall for this; the best option is to leave.
4. Give me one last chance, please
The man admits he has made a mistake. You can decide to forgive him, but if the same act occurs and he says the same thing, then leaving is the only option.
5. But she is my best friend’s girlfriend
So what are you doing with her? Do not believe when your man says that. It is just some random girl that he has picked up and now trying to hide his mistake. You know it’s time to break up.
6. “I was just trying to help her…”
Do you operate a charity organization? Okay, it’s good to help others, but in the bedroom? Don’t believe when men say this.
7. I don’t even know who she is
Okay, so you were caught in the “wrong” position, and all you could come up with is that you don’t know the girl with whom you are cheating on your girlfriend or wife? It is most unlikely your girl will sort things out with you, so better tell the truth.
8. She means nothing to me
She might not mean anything to him or he’s lying. Usually, men who have affairs may not have wanted to get involved emotionally, but after sleeping with them multiple times, feelings start to develop. So, in most cases, he’s lying that she means nothing to him. What he really means to say is that he doesn’t want her over you.
9. It’s not what it looks like
You don’t ever want to hear this phrase. Nothing good will come from it. If someone says that it’s “not what it looks like,” it’s exactly what it looks like.
10. I can’t believe you don’t trust me
If you have trust issues, he’ll use them against you. Even if you have evidence that he’s cheating, he’ll claim that you’re just jealous over nothing. It’s a common thing for cheaters to say, because it’ll make you start doubting yourself instead of them.
11. I didn’t know what I was doing
Men say this, but it makes little sense. How could he possibly be unaware of what he was doing? Unless he was drugged, he knew exactly what he was doing. He could at least come up with a lie that’s plausible.
