Actress Patience Ozokwo has expressed anger over the attack on the worshippers of St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, on Sunday, by gunmen.
The explosion reportedly occurred on the church premises while mass was ongoing, sending worshippers scampering for safety.
Reacting in an Instagram post on Sunday, Patience said that “No one is safe anymore”.
The actress also prayed for the families of the victims of the massacre.
She wrote: “No one is safe anymore. No where is safe anymore. Oh the bleeding hearts of bonds broken, of families in mourning.
May you bring solace oh God. May lives have value in Nigeria”
Saddened over the attack, singer Simi wrote on Twitter saying, “I keep typing and deleting the things I’m feeling, because who cares how I’m feeling when people actually lost their loved ones. Their parents. Their children. Slight panic attack.”
Another singer Davido also called for prayers following the attack.
On his Twitter page on Sunday, Davido wrote, “Jesus take control. Pray for Nigeria. RIP to all the lost souls. #prayforondo. This is too much.”
