Veteran actor Jide Kosoko has penned down a short tribute to his wife actress Henrietta Emumejiakpo on the sixth anniversary of her death.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the 68-year-old posted a video of Henrietta granting an interview where she was trying to explain the meaning of her Urhobo name.
Captioning the video, Jide Kosoko wrote: “Keep resting dear Henrietta Emumejiakpo, olorun lo mo ohun gbogbo, ohun na lo nse ohun gbogbo. All glory belong to Almighty God its 6 years now, Rest on, we are coping in Christ.”
Jide Kosoko’s daughter Bidemi also penned down a lovely message to her mum on Instagram.
She wrote: “It’s been 6years already sweet mama. We miss you so much. Keep resting omo odudukudu.”
Temilade Kosoko, another daughter of the deceased posted a video on Instagram chronicling her journey from, childhood to teenagehood with her mother.
Captioning the video, Temi wrote: “6 years like yesterday. I love you so much mummy.”
Henrietta died on June 6, 2016, making her the third wife the actor has lost to the cold hands of death.
She was said to have died at the Jolad Hospital, Gbagada, Lagos on Monday morning, after complications that arose after an auto crash she had while travelling in her car in January.
Other reports said she battled with diabetes.
Henrietata came into limlight in 1995 after starring in movies like Onome and Omolade.
