Singer D’banj could not hold back his excitement on Thursday as the finalists of the Nigerian Idol season seven, thrilled guests with their energetic rendition of the singer’s popular song Oliver Twist.
The music star who had a lot to be grateful for, particularly his success in the entertainment industry, his music comeback and his appointment as one of the judges on the Nigerian Idol show, threw a big party for his friends, well-wishers and colleagues.
A video uploaded on Instagram shows the celebrant dancing and jumping in excitement as the group performed in harmony.
Celebrities like Nigerian Idol host Ik Osakioduwa, Wande Coal, Ice Prince, Larry Gaga, Ycee and Skiibii attended the event.
To mark his birthday, D’banj announced that he would be giving out one million naira to a lucky fan.
D’banj wrote: “I’m giving out 1M Naira today my birthday to 1 lucky fan who bids the lowest unique number on Cream Delta Cream, a product under the cream platform”.
Expressing his gratitude for adding another year, the singer posted a lovely photo of himself on Instagram on Thursday.
The Koko Master, as he is popularly known called wrote: “Grateful to God for another year so I must celebrate it specially. Grateful to God for making my face to show, keeping my shoe shining and my teeth white as I add another year today.”
