Skit maker Bukunmi Adeaga popularly known as Kiekie has reacted to the fall she had at the 2022 Trendupp awards on Sunday.
The actress who was one of the recipients of the awards fell off the stage while receiving her award, causing several reactions on social media.
While some laughed over the fan, others worried about her well-being.
However, clearing the air on Monday, Kiekie stated that the incident was staged.
“That caption should read: the moment KIEKIE pranked the Audience! Weren’t you at the event? I love the playback effect tho! Makes you look pathetic with your attempt! Me I wee not fall down in Jesus name,” she wrote under the comment section of a post.”
In an Instagram story, she added, “Guys! Thank you for checking up on me! I feel loved. However ignore the media, it was a prank! Those at the event know that! So don’t worry.”
Celebrities like Mr Macaroni, Big Brother Naija reality star Tacha and cross-dresser James Brown also attended the event.
