Actor, Jerry Amilo, has joined the members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in remembering the late prophet TB Joshua on his posthumous birthday.
Joshua died on Saturday, June 5, 2021, exactly a week before his 58th birthday.
In remembrance of his posthumous birthday, Jerry in an Instagram post on Monday, June 13 posted a video from the first death anniversary celebration of the late prophet which was held at the Lagos megachurch on June 5, 2022.
Captioning the video, he wrote: “Still about Synagogue Church Of All Nations aka. Emmanuel & the 1-year memorial service for late Prophet TB Joshua.”
The actor, who attended TB Joshua’s first memorial service, alongside actress Rita Edochie and controversial preacher Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje, went live on Instagram to share moments from the event.
In the video, the actor could be seen rejoicing with others who came to pay their respect to the late televangelist.
Captioning the video, he wrote: “Much love & supper fun as we celebrate 1-year anniversary remembrance of late Prophet TB. Joshua at the Synagogue Church of all Nations aka. Emmanuel blessed up weekend wishes to all the super blessed peeps.”
In the video she posted, Rita Edochie is seen trying to hold back her tears as the choir sang in honour of the late SCOAN leader.
“All the lord’s general, they don’t last, they don’t stay long. Once they come and do what they are supposed to do, they are gone. Senior prophet TB Joshua, he is gone, God’s general, he is gone. May he keep resting in the lord.”
As part of the celebratory mood on Joshua’s posthumous birthday, SCOAN leader Pastor Evelyn Joshua announced the gifts of DVDs and stickers for all congregants.
Emmanuel TV Choir led the congregants in worship to God for the life of Joshua.
Earlier, Evangelist Ope took a sermon titled ‘The Power of Love,’ reading from 1 John 4:7-8.
