One of the worst kept secrets on the social scene is the marriage of Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, and an Ambrose Alli University (Ekpoma) Law graduate simply identified as Jane.
Not one to flaunt his wife in public, the former Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) President, has done a good job of keeping his young wife away from the limelight since they were reportedly yoked at a private ceremony in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State two years ago.
The two were however spotted together at the 50th birthday party of Toyin, wife of former Governor of Kwara State, Bukola Saraki, held at Victoria and Albert Museum, London on Saturday, September 13.
Information made available to qed.ng has it that the Comrade Governor introduced his significant other to some friends at the grand event.
Prominent people at the party included Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal; Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, and wife, Funso, Governor Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers) and wife, Judith; Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed and wife, Omolewa; National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu; former Osun State Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola; President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote; and former Commonwealth Scribe, Chief Emeka Anyaoku and wife, Bunmi.
Others were Gilbert and Ronald Chagoury, Supo and Gbemi Sasore, Ekua Abudu, Caroline Olaseinde, Nana Otedola, Jide Coker, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Wale Tinubu and wife, Bola, Senator Magnus Abe, Segun Agbaje, Yinka Ojora, Adejare Adegbenro, Tunde Morakinyo and Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede.
Oshiomhole’s first wife, Clara, died at the age of 54 on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 after a protracted battle with breast cancer.
She had five children, namely Cyril, Winnie, Jane, Steve and Adams Jnr, with the khaki-loving governor.
