Gospel singer, Ayanduro John Oluwaleke, popularly known as SnowJay has released a song for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
The music artiste posted a video of himself on Twitter on Thursday, June 30, playing the guitar as he sang the new track.
Captioning the post, the singer noted that he almost did not want to release the song but he finally did.
He wrote: “So I did a song for Peter Obi and I almost didn’t want to put it out but here’s it finally.”
The one-minute track talks about Mr Obi as a man full of integrity and foresight. The singer described the former Anambra State Governor as selfless, kind, and someone who puts the people’s needs ahead of his own.
Snow Jay further urged Nigerians to vote for Peter Obi as president in the 2023 general elections.
The lyrics of the song say: “Man like Peter Obi is all this country needs, man like Peter Obi so full of integrity, a man with foresight, selfless and kind, he’s got the people’s needs at heart. Let’s vote for Peter Obi. Let’s vote for Peter Obi come 2023.”
The video received 3,784 likes and 1,961 retweets at the time of filing the report.
Appreciating Peter Obi’s supporters who call themselves ‘obedients’ and his fans for making the video go viral, Snow Jay wrote: “Kai Obidients are so solid… really appreciate you all for retweeting and sharing my PETER OBI song, Thank you so much for your support.”
Snow Jay tied the knot with Grace Farinde, a hairstylist on November 20, 2021.
Like Snow Jay, singer Peter Okoye, better known as Mr P, has continued to intensify his support for the Labour Party presidential candidate via his tweets.
Peter Okoye, in one of his tweets, pointed out that his support for Mr Obi has nothing to do with tribe and religion as he is not hungry. He also encouraged Nigerians to get their voters card.
He wrote: “Before you think it’s about Tribe & Religion. Remember! Peter Obi is not hungry, Tinubu is not hungry, Atiku is not hungry, even myself Peter Okoye/Psquare is not hungry! Who is hungry?… Now another 8yrs is Loading….. Be wiser! Go get your PVC and vote a credible candidate!”
