Aluko died on Friday days before his 79th birthday on July 22. He passed on at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
Aluko was the publisher of the defunct Third Eye Newspapers.
Ige described him as a great man whose wonderful monthly text messages would be missed.
“A great man has transisted to the great beyond. We will miss your wonderful monthly text messages.
“May God grant your soul sweet repose and may He comfort the rest of the family. Rest on baba daadaa. RIP Daddy,” Ige wrote in his condolence message at Aluko’s house.
Salami described Aluko as “a great and wonderful daddy, heaven has gained a blessed and beautiful son in his death.”
