Actor Itele D Icon has declared himself a ‘super dad’ two days after reaching out to the children he ‘abandoned’.
The Yoruba movie star on Tuesday posted a photo of himself wearing a polo with the words ‘super dad’ written on it.
Captioning the photo, he wrote: “Making mistakes isn’t enough to become great. You must also admit the mistake, and then learn how to turn that mistake into an advantage.”
Recall that last week, the entertainer was accused of shirking his parental responsibilities to the four children he had with his lover before getting married to his current wife. According to a blogger, Ibrahim denied being the father of the kids.
When videos of where the children live surfaced on the internet, the actor was widely criticised for letting his children live in such conditions.
However, reacting to the accusation in an Instagram post on Saturday, Itele promised to perform his duty as a father to his children, he also appreciated those who reached out to him and apologised to the people he hurt.
“I love my kids and I promise to do the needful henceforth, I am apologizing to the general public to please forgive my earlier outburst and disregard it, To my Fans worldwide, God bless everyone and to those who reached out too, I appreciate it a lot, Thank you,” he wrote in parts.
The actor kept to his words as seen in a video posted on his Instagram page on Sunday where he took his kid on a shopping spree. In the video, Itele D Icon is seen buying clothes for his children.
