General overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM) Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere on Tuesday met actor Kenneth Aguba.
Photos of the actor were shared multiple times on social media on Monday with claims that he was homeless.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria said the story was true and offered to assist.
However, Chinyere moved swiftly to meet Aguba after offering help just 24 hours earlier.
He posted pictures of their meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on social media. In one of the pictures, Chinyere hugs Aguba after showing him around the apartment.
The clergyman posted on Monday on social media that Aguba would be provided with accommodation and food, but not funds for business.
He said, “So as long as he is in the male estate, feeding would not be a problem for him. But I will not be establishing any business for him. And he can stay in the estate free of charge at the estate forever. Everything is fully funded through tithes and offerings in OPM Church.”
Earlier this year, Chinyere relocated the family of the slain Deborah Samuel to Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Samuel, a student, was killed by a mob at Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto for alleged blasphemy.
