The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the death of actor, Emma Buchi, in Asaba, the state capital.
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report, however, it was gathered that the decomposing body of the Abia-born actor was found in his apartment.
The spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday, July 12, noted that it was a murder case.
“The incident is confirmed and it is confirmed that it is a murder case. But we cannot tell who was behind it for now. We are investigating the case.” Edafe stated.
The last Facebook post of the deceased was on July 6, 2022.
Last month, Emma shared photos of himself on Instagram at a movie location with actor, Van Vicker.
A colleague of the deceased identified as Melody Obia also took to Facebook to update the public about Emma’s death.
She wrote: “This is my friend Prince Emma Buchi an Actor. He was allegedly murdered by this young boy Sunny who was his PA in Asaba. The boy was seen carrying all his properties even when he was nowhere to be found.
“Emma was found in his house dead after days while his body was decomposing in a now-empty apartment. The boy was a meat seller at Bonny Street Umuahia, Abia state. He comes from Amuzukwu. Anyone with any useful information should please contact me or his family or our AGN guild or the police Please share and help us find him.”
The CEO of Lions Pictures Movies also wrote on Facebook: “IT’S HARD TO SAY RIP… GOD KNOWS THE BEST… MY FRIEND, MY MAN, MY BROTHER… JUST HEARD THE NEWS NOW OF MY BELOVED BROTHER PRINCE EMMA BUCHI WHO WAS KILLED BY HIS PA IN HIS HOUSE AND LOOKED HIM UP THERE… DEVIL WILL PUNISH THAT BOY WHERE EVER HE IS… THAT BOY WILL DIE MYSTERIOUSLY… I CURSE YOU WERE EVER U ARE… DEATH HAS LOCATED YOU… SHAAA… IT’S WELL MY MAN. RIP PRINCE EMMA BUCHI”.
