Oba Saheed Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom in Lagos has decorated a German Oliver Cohnen and his wife Christiane Cohnen with the chieftaincy titles of Aare Bobaseye and Yeye Bobaseye of Ikate Kingdom.
Mr Cohnen, according to an Instagram post by the monarch on Thursday, is the general manager of HFP.
Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi was present at the occasion.
Others who were also recently honoured with chieftaincy titles are Oba Elegushi’s “friend of many years” Akim Bolarinwa and his wife Folusayo. They were conferred with the titles of Aare Bobajiro and Yeye Bobajiro of Ikate Kingdom.
Real estate guru Chiedu Nweke and his wife Chinelo were honoured with the titles of Aare Atunluse and Yete Atunluse of IKate Kingdom.
Legal practitioner Adepeju Omotayo was decorated with the title of Yeye Tayese of Ikate Kingdom.
“The honour is in recognition of their invaluable contribution to the development of Ikate-Elegushi kingdom,” Oba Elegushi noted.
